Network intelligence without theatre

About IP CONFIG

IP CONFIG turns a public connection into a clear, responsible explanation: what is visible, what is approximate and what action is actually useful.

The product

Clarity you can act on

Most IP lookup pages either stop at a number or surround that number with warnings and advertising. IP CONFIG takes a different position. A visitor should be able to see the server-observed public IP, approximate geolocation, network provider, ASN, privacy signals and local context in one readable report. Every uncertain field is labeled, and no result is treated as proof of identity.

The application combines server-rendered PHP for accessible and search-friendly pages with small JavaScript modules for live diagnostics. Provider adapters isolate IPGeolocation, VPNAPI, OpenWeatherMap, WeatherAPI.com, Open-Meteo, DNS-over-HTTPS, RDAP and who-dat so an outage or pricing change can be handled without rebuilding every page.

Editorial design

Fraunces carries the expressive display voice, Source Serif 4 keeps long explanations calm, and JetBrains Mono marks measured data. Cream paper, ink, burgundy and signal coral make the interface distinctive in light and dark themes.

Responsible monetization

Advertising is capped at five reserved placements per page and remains disabled until consent and network approval. Affiliate relationships are disclosed beside recommendations. Useful content and tools must remain more prominent than paid material.

Built for handoff

The repository favors plain PHP modules, explicit configuration and documented provider contracts. A new team can replace a service, rotate credentials, add a locale or publish a new tool without reverse-engineering a framework.
